Post jam thing uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh


Seeing as GMTK Jam 2022 has finished, I can finally upload a significantly less buggy version of the game. A lot of the fixes are bodges, but they don't seem to have a pronounced impact on performance as I was still able to get well in excess of 60fps using my old laptop (Core i5-2520M, HD3000 integrated graphics).

This devlog mostly exists because itch claims it'll notify people of the update. Or at least I'm pretty sure that's what it said. I'm still recovering from the development cycle of this game lol

In case you haven't read it, the changelog is as follows:

  • Gameplay changes
    • Removed Weighter tile for being a useless piece of garbage
  • Bugfixes
    • Fixed bug where placed tiles would stop working at random intervals
    • Fixed bug where positive Filters caused no polarity reaction
    • Fixed bug where Receptacles and Termini could be destroyed, rendering a level impossible
  • General changes
    • Wrote the Weighter out of the story
    • Rebalanced audio to make it (less) earpiercing
    • Dramatically reduced filesize (55mb -> 7mb)
